Marc, from Liverpool in England, has been a registered osteopath in the UK since 1995 and holds an honours degree is Osteopathic Musculoskeletal Practice as well as a master’s degree with distinction in Clinical Sciences specialising in pain science and movement. He is a qualified tennis coach, kettlebell and Movnat (natural movement) instructor, a former national ranked 100m track sprinter and has played competitive tennis at Wimbledon in the British Senior Grass Court Championships. Combining hands-on work with functional movement and pain advice, Marc uses the original musculoskeletal manipulative techniques of the first osteopaths, rather than cranio-sacral or visceral approaches, and tailors his approach to help you get back to doing what you enjoy most, as well as keeping you in tip-top condition for your general physical well-being whenever you need it. Chantelle was born and raised in Victoria BC, a graduate at Camosun College Massage therapy program as well as has a Bachelor’s degree of Exercise and Athletic therapy at Camosun College. Chantelle has had experience working with the University of Victoria Women’s soccer team, The Pacific Highlanders and lots of clinical experience helping those rehabilitate from an injury. She uses Swedish massage, pin and stretch, deeper pressure and exercises in her treatments. Mary grew up in Ontario. She was active in sports growing up and loved science which lead her to choose to attend The University of Western Ontario and earn a degree in Kinesiology. After graduation, she worked and travelled, eventually settling in Victoria and enrolling in the Massage Therapy program at WCCMT. She has worked in both clinic and spa settings, in Ontario and BC, and uses a variety of techniques learned in school and continuing education courses. She incorporates general Sweddish massage, myofascial release, on table stretching and movement, as well as homecare exercises and strategies, to help client reach their health care goals. Jessica is a registered acupuncturist with a background in holistic midwifery, teaching yoga, and circus arts. She has particularly enjoyed seeing the effects of acupuncture on pain relief, gynecological care, mental/emotional wellness, and digestive health. Evan is a graduate of the Victoria West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has grown her practice throughout the Victoria area since becoming registered in 2005. Evan’s 18 year clinical focus has been scar tissue management, treating all manner of scars including mastectomy, abdominal/pelvic, orthopedic, C-section, reconstructive, cancer and traumatic injury. She maintains a strong referral network with post-operative health care professionals in the community and at the BC Cancer Agency. She has taught myofascial and scar tissue techniques to students at the college level and to fellow RMT’s as continuing education. Scar mobilization is a work of passion for Evan who is continually humbled by the ability of the body to heal, and privileged to assist people on their journey through medical trauma to a greater quality of life. Sheri grew up in Victoria, lived in England, and after travelling Europe she decided to move back to BC to finish her post secondary education. Sheri started her Massage Therapy practice in 1997. For 13 years she worked at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) as a practical instructor, a clinical coordinator and a clinical supervisor; during this time she also held the Continuing Education Coordinator position for the Massage Therapists Association of British Columbia . She continues to give back to the profession as a Faculty member at Camosun College. Professional experiences include working with the University of Calgary Swim Team at the National Olympic Trials and working with the Canadian National Women’s Soccer Team during preparations for the World Cup. Dianna is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. Her passion for the power of massage in healing is immense, and driven by her personal experience of massage being instrumental in helping her regain mobility after injury. She is constantly fascinated by the interconnected nature of everything in the body, and her practice is based on the foundation that creating ease and decreasing and managing pain can help her patients improve their quality of life and help them continue or return to activities they enjoy. With a multi-faceted approach that can, when warranted, include joint mobilizations, active release, fascial release, and deep tissue massage, she loves to find what each individual patient requires, to feel at their best. She now has completed the first phase of her Craniosacral Therapy training with the upledger institute, and is ready to offer these treatments to patients. A lover of all things active and/or outdoors, she’s been a small-boat sailor, a gardener/landscaper, and a yoga teacher.
